1. Who we are & what this covers

Innosoft Group (“Innosoft,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) provides True Browser. This policy covers information processed through our browser, our True Browser website and services, and communications with us.

Websites you visit, extensions you install, Yahoo, search-routing services, and advertisers may process information under their own policies. This policy describes our practices; it does not replace their privacy notices. Our Terms of Service govern use of True Browser.

2. Information we process

Information you provide

When you contact us, we receive the name, email address, subject, message, and any other information you choose to include. Please do not send passwords, payment details, sensitive identity documents, or unrelated private browsing information.

Installation, device & service information

The browser and associated services process persistent installation identifiers, provider identifiers, IP addresses, browser and operating-system information, timestamps, approximate country, and installation or referral information. These identifiers can connect activity from the same installation across browser profiles. Referral information can identify the website or campaign associated with a download. An installation identifier is not the same as an anonymous record.

Search information

Searches through True’s Yahoo-powered features pass through a search-routing partner to Yahoo. These services receive the query and connection information needed to return results. True’s search reporting includes search events, their source (such as the address bar or new-tab page), event time, installation and profile identifiers, and selected search-engine information. Regular and Guest search events can include query text. The dedicated Incognito search report omits query text; see Private browsing for its limits.

Sponsored-tab information

When the sponsored-tab feature operates, it processes page URLs, titles, descriptions, and other page metadata to request and select sponsored offers. Requests and delivery records can include full page URLs, installation or provider identifiers, browser information, IP address, offer details, and records of an offer being opened or loaded. Page URLs and metadata can reveal interests or sensitive information about the content being viewed.

Settings & installation choices

True reports the sponsored-tabs preference, search-engine selections, and browser-setting changes. Reporting can also include installation options, installer version, the time and version of the installation disclosure accepted, and import status. These reports are separate from the sponsored-tabs preference and can continue when sponsored tabs are off.

Information stored on your device

True stores browser information such as bookmarks, browsing history, cookies, site data, and preferences on your device as needed for the features you use. The optional installer import copies bookmarks and browsing history into True. It does not import passwords, cookies, or extensions. Local browser storage and the service reporting described above are different: clearing local history does not automatically delete information already sent to a service.

Website & communication logs

Requests to our website and services expose technical information such as IP address, requested resource, time, and browser information to the servers handling them. Our contact service uses pseudonymous request records to limit spam. Email and hosting providers process the communications they deliver for us. Third-party search results and websites may use their own cookies and similar technologies.

3. How information is used

We use information for the following purposes:

• Provide browsing, search routing, sponsored offers, installation, and browser-setting features.
• Identify installations, remember choices, determine offer eligibility, and avoid duplicate events or repeated offers.
• Measure searches, referrals, ad delivery, and installation or removal events; administer relationships that generate revenue.
• Diagnose service problems, maintain compatibility, limit spam and abuse, and protect our services.
• Respond to support and privacy requests, maintain necessary business records, resolve disputes, and comply with legal obligations.

Yahoo-powered search and sponsored-tab revenue help support our tree-planting mission. Using the browser does not establish a fixed conversion between an individual’s activity and trees planted.

4. When information is shared

We disclose information to the following categories of recipients when relevant to the purposes above:

• Search providers and routing partners. True’s default searches are routed through truebrowser-org.s1search.co to Yahoo. These providers receive search and technical information and may display advertising. See Yahoo’s Privacy Policy.
• Advertising and offer providers. Browsing context and technical or installation information are used to request, select, deliver, and measure sponsored offers. Visiting an offer also shares information directly with the advertiser’s website.
• Service providers. Hosting, infrastructure, email, support, and security providers process information needed to perform their services.
• Legal and safety recipients. Information may be disclosed when reasonably necessary to comply with applicable law or valid legal process, investigate abuse, enforce our terms, or protect rights and safety.
• Business transaction recipients. Information may be transferred as part of a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant assets, subject to applicable privacy obligations.
• Recipients you direct. We may disclose information at your request or with consent where required.

Advertising, sale & sharing choices

Our search and advertising arrangements generate revenue and involve disclosures of browsing context and identifiers to partners. Depending on the applicable law and the partner’s use, a disclosure may qualify as a “sale,” “sharing,” or processing for targeted advertising. To request an opt-out of these uses, contact [email protected] or use our contact form. You can also turn off True’s sponsored tabs immediately using the control described below. That control applies to sponsored tabs; it does not itself opt you out of every third-party advertising practice.

5. Incognito & Guest browsing

Private browsing does not make you anonymous to True’s services, search providers, advertisers, websites, or your network provider. Incognito and Guest modes affect local browser storage, but are not a general opt-out from network requests or service reporting.

Dedicated Incognito search telemetry omits the query text. However, the search provider still receives the query to return results, and sponsored-tab requests or logs may contain full page URLs, titles, or descriptions in any browsing mode. Guest search telemetry can retain query text. If you do not want the sponsored-tab feature to process that context, turn it off before browsing.

6. Controls available to you

• Sponsored tabs: open Settings > System and turn off “Show sponsored tabs to support environmental projects.” The choice applies to all profiles in that installation and stays off until you turn it on again.
• Address-bar search: select another provider in Settings > Search engine. The Yahoo search box on True’s new-tab page operates independently of the address-bar setting.
• Local browsing data: use the browser’s Delete browsing data controls to manage history, cookies, and cached data. Some information, such as bookmarks, has separate controls.
• Site access: review site permissions for features such as camera, microphone, notifications, and location in browser settings. Information you send to a website is subject to that website’s practices.
• Installation & background options: review the installer’s Advanced Options and the browser’s System settings. Windows Settings > Apps > Startup lets you review startup behavior.
• Removal: follow our uninstall guide to remove the application. Uninstalling does not automatically erase server records already collected or information held by other services.

Turning sponsored tabs off does not stop independent search-event or browser-settings reporting. Use the privacy-request process below for information about retained records or other processing. Do not assume a general “Do Not Track” setting turns off these services. Where applicable law requires us to recognize a valid universal opt-out signal, that legal requirement applies independently of the sponsored-tabs setting.

7. Privacy requests & your rights

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have rights to confirm processing, access or obtain a copy of personal information, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, or opt out of sales, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. Some laws also provide rights to limit certain uses of sensitive information, withdraw consent, or appeal a decision. These rights are subject to legal exceptions.

Submit a request through our contact form, email [email protected] with “Privacy request” in the subject, or write to the postal address below. Explain the request and how we can reply. We may ask for information reasonably needed to verify your identity and locate the relevant records; please do not send sensitive identity documents unless a secure method is arranged. An authorized representative may act where permitted, subject to appropriate verification.

We will handle requests within the time required by applicable law and explain any permitted extension, fee, or denial. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights. If we decline a request, you may appeal by contacting us with “Privacy appeal” in the subject. You may also contact the regulator responsible for privacy in your location. Texas residents can find information and complaint options through the Texas Attorney General.

8. Retention & security

Retention depends on the type of information, the service purpose, legal obligations, fraud prevention, and any ongoing dispute. Support correspondence, installation records, search and ad records, and technical logs can have different retention needs. You can ask us about retention and request deletion through the contact methods above. Deleting data on your device does not automatically remove server records, backups, or records held by independent partners.

No browser, website, transmission method, or storage system can guarantee absolute security. Keep your browser and operating system updated, protect access to your device, and avoid sending confidential information through an ordinary support message.

9. Children & where information is processed

True Browser and our website are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly seek personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate steps, including deletion where required.

Innosoft Group is based in the United States. Information may be processed in the United States and in locations where our service providers operate. Privacy protections can differ by location. Mandatory privacy protections and transfer requirements under applicable law are not waived by using True Browser.

10. Changes & contact

We may update this policy as our services or practices change. The date above identifies the latest version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent when applicable law requires it; a policy update does not by itself authorize processing that requires separate consent.
